Emmoa Foundation at the Faith in Action Against Modern Slavery Conference

Emmoa Foundation was honoured to participate in the “Faith in Action Against Modern Slavery” conference, hosted by the Global Freedom Network, bringing together faith leaders, advocates, and community organizations united by a shared commitment to human dignity and justice. Representing our Foundation’s core belief that faith must inspire freedom and compassion in action, our team joined powerful conversations on how faith-based organizations can play a leading role in ending modern slavery, human trafficking, and exploitation. Throughout the conference, we highlighted Emmoa Foundation’s work in empowering vulnerable women and youth through vocational training, education, and economic inclusion—key tools in breaking the cycle of vulnerability that fuels modern slavery. We also shared success stories from our grassroots programs in Ghana that demonstrate how restoring opportunity and dignity at the community level transforms lives. The event provided a valuable platform for collaboration and partnership with global networks striving toward a common goal: a world where no person is enslaved, and every individual can live and work in freedom. Our participation reaffirmed Emmoa Foundation’s commitment to faith-driven social justice, and we look forward to continuing to work alongside international partners to promote freedom, equality, and human flourishing for all.
